2013 year in Review..

 

This is the time to review and evaluate our growth and accomplishments of 2013.

We started the year by acquiring a contract to provide technology services in the Caribbean with our company Vonac Inc. This project provided new technology to one of our clients in Puerto Rico and provided new services to Nevis, St Kitts, Barbados, St Lucia and Dominican Republic.  We eliminated the distribution of certain security products and developed new alliances in Puerto Rico. Currently, we are developing security services for a residential community of 250 homes.  We developed Security Online Marketplace and are getting ready to launch in the first quarter of 2014. We plan to expand our services to Dominican Republic with other investors at this time.

Vonac Travel had a record year with social media traffic and inquires.  We increased our bookings by 40% giving us the opportunity to create a new website with booking capabilities. The new website is scheduled to be live early 2014. It will now be a simple process for vacationers to choose our travel destinations.  We also added cruises and airfare to our vacation options.  We expanded our services by adding the Brazilian market and now have a Welcome Center on International Drive.  We plan to develop this market during 2014 by promoting the World Cup and the 2015 Olympics.  We are also scheduled to provide a marketing campaign to promote vacations in Puerto Rico. Our Orlando travelers continue to grow year after year allowing us to now provide travelers the option of investing in purchasing a vacation home.  This new program is scheduled to launch in mid-2014.

The GO ALY GO Network was born in March 2013. We developed the business network to provide solutions and services to entrepreneurs to help them become more successful.  We held many networking and community events to support our mission.  We now have many members and partners contributing to our growth.  We were recognized as “The Networking Event of the Month” by HOT Spot Magazine.  Our new website is scheduled to be live by early January 2014 with a new phone app.  Our social media organic views continue to grow rapidly.  We are focusing on having our video channel with exciting messages from GO ALY GO.  We are also opening our GO ALY GO Business Center in Orlando that will provide many services to our members.

This year was very different unlike any other year when it comes to my personal life.  I was able to truly enjoy my spare time with family and friends.  I visited the Bahamas twice and took a few other meaningful trips.  I enjoyed more time with someone special which made this year FUN.  I was able to run the Disney Marathon this year and I continue to maintain my fitness routine.  During the summer, I had a very challenging time taking care of my BFF during her last days battling cancer.  We shared more than 21 years together but, she walked into heaven on Aug 17, 2013. I continue grieving her loss.  

This year has been very productive and nonstop with developing our initiatives for the business.  I made executive decisions to terminate business relationships that caused unnecessary expenses to our company.  We are very clear when it comes to expectations and made it obvious this year to take necessary legal actions when expectations were not met.  We’ve develop new relationships with great leaders in the community.  I’m excited about our growth and new blessings coming to VONAC in 2014.
